Learn the Basics of Longarm Quilting with Ginger!

Have you wanted to learn longarm quilting but didn’t know where to start? Ginger’s Quilts now offers the opportunity to rent my APQS Millie and get your Longarm Certification!

These four-hour classes teach the basics of computerized digital longarm quilting, from loading quilts, operating the machine, choosing digital design patterns, and planning step-by-step during the longarm quilting process. After your certification, you can rent Ginger’s Quilts APQS Millie longarm machine. Ginger will be steps away to assist with any questions during rental time. FAQs about Longarm Quilting Certification

The certification class is a four-hour workshop designed to teach a variety of basic longarm skills

· How to load a quilt onto the machine

· How to operate the machine

· Choosing digital design patterns for edge-to-edge quilting

· Step-by-step decision-making during the quilting process

Class Policies

· The four-hour course is $150.00.

· The certification is good with continuous rental with rental time lapses no longer than 6 months. If longer than 6 months must recertify.

· The rental fee is $25/hour with a two-hour minimum.

· By appointment only.

· A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required to secure your reservation in the certification class. The deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit will not be returned.

· Ginger will be present and available to assist you with any questions during machine rental.

· For Power Panto only.

Materials

Ginger’s Quilts will provide:

· Zippers

· Thread

· Power Panto handout with information on Quiltpath software.

You bring:

· Quilt top 36”x36”

· Quilt back 46”x46”

· Batting 46”x46”

· Straight pins

· Notepad and pen/pencil for notes
