Minimum Order $50.00

Ginger's Quilts charges a $50 minimum per order.

Every effort will be made to get your quilt completed by the desired date. However, due to fluctuating business conditions, backlogs, and life’s general uncertainties, nothing can be absolutely guaranteed. Also, please remember that the quilting is being done with a human involved and may not be perfectly exact.

If your borders or blocks are not square it may be necessary to have tucks (pleats) sewn into your quilt during the quilting process. Every effort will be made to avoid this.

Due to the nature of quilting, it is impossible for me to center a quilt back vertically or horizontally exact. I will do the best I can to make your quilt look the best.

My E2E pricing starts at .025 cents per square inch. (Batting not

included in this price)

Prices may be more depending on design.

Prices for custom quilting will be discussed per individual quilt starting at .06 to .15 cents per square inch depending on design, density, and complexity.

Do's and Don'ts for your order

Please Prepare Your Quilt for Quilting

Quilt top should be clean, pressed and trimmed down to final finished size.
Backing should be ironed prior to sending to me. If pieced please iron backing seams open.
Trim any loose threads. Make sure all seams are secure.
Remove any excess pins, buttons and other embellishments.
The quilt top must lay flat. Measure quilt top across the top, bottom and the center. These measurements should be the same, if not you may end up with puckers and an unsquared quilt.
Quilt top, backing and batting should be in 3 separate pieces as they are loaded separately.
Batting and backing should be at least 8-10 inches larger in overall width and length.
If you prewash your quilt top it is highly recommended that you prewash your backing.

***Fullness Disclaimer – fullness and/or puckers within a quilt top cannot be quilted out. I cannot guarantee that puckers and tucks won’t be sewn in. In some cases, excessive fullness in borders may result in quilt top corners not being square. The flatter your quilt top is, the better the finished quilt will be.

***Mechanical Disclaimer – Please be aware that sewing machines, including longarm machines are mechanical devices. Although I do my best to ensure perfect results every time, on very rare occasions mechanical problems can occur which may/could cause minor damage to your quilt top or backing.

Can you use my thread?

No, I use high quality Glide quilting thread in my machines. No variegated threads. A list of Glide colors can be found at https://www.habanddash.com/media/pdfs/FTHD--GLIDECOLOR2021.pdf Not all colors are stocked on premise. I will contact you if your chosen color is not available.

What types of payment does Ginger's Quilts accept?

Ginger's Quilts uses PayPal, Venmo and Zelle.

What is the average turnaround time?

Right now I am scheduling two weeks out for edge to edge. Longer for custom quilting. This can change during busier times.
